For fourth consecutive year, China remains Peru's top goods supplier followed by the United States, Germany, and Brazil, Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) reported.

According to CCL's Foreign Trade Center (CCEX), Chinese shipments to Peru amounted to US$8.864 billion by end-2017, thus accounting for nearly 20% of total Inca imports.

Within this framework, shipments from the Asian Giant experienced a 7.5% expansion.

It must be noted Peruvian imports exceeded US$44 billion in 2017, up by 17% compared to 2016.

In this sense, the technology industry was the one that generated the greatest interest among Peruvian consumers.

Mobile phones, laptops, TVs, chargers, among other electronic items, stood out in this sense.
